Designer

Designing spaces that celebrate personality, creativity, and everyday life.

This project was all about bringing personality, creativity, and fun to life. Designed for an 11 year old boy with big interests and an even bigger imagination, the goal was to create a space that felt uniquely his while still being functional, organized, and comfortable.

This project was all about bringing personality, creativity, and fun to life. Designed for an 11 year old boy with big interests and an even bigger imagination, the goal was to create a space that felt uniquely his while still being functional, organized, and comfortable.

Inspired by his love for NFL football, gaming, and LEGO building, the room was thoughtfully designed to showcase his favorite hobbies while giving him space to grow. Every detail was considered to balance energy and play with practicality, resulting in a room that feels exciting, personal, and perfectly suited to everyday life.

Key Spaces

Bedroom and Play Space:

The room was designed to support multiple uses, from rest and relaxation to gaming and creative play. Zones were created to give each activity its own place, allowing the space to feel organized without limiting fun. Storage and display areas help keep collections accessible while maintaining a clean, comfortable environment.

Details

Color Palette

Bold accents inspired by the client’s favorite team are balanced with neutral tones to keep the space grounded. This approach allows the room to feel energetic without becoming overwhelming, and flexible enough to evolve over time.

Materials and Textures

Durable, kid friendly materials were selected throughout the space to support daily use. Soft flooring, layered bedding, and tactile elements add comfort, while structured shelving and clean finishes keep everything feeling intentional.

Furniture and Storage

Furniture selections were chosen for both comfort and function, with pieces that support gaming, rest, and creative play. Thoughtful storage solutions help organize collectibles and LEGO builds, making it easy to keep the room tidy while celebrating what makes it special.

Lighting

Lighting was designed to adapt to different moments throughout the day. Natural light supports play and focus, while layered lighting options create a cozy atmosphere for downtime and evenings.
